Today, October 17, my birthday by the way (!) I was walking along the streets in Barcelona and ended up in a huge protest by spanish students, around 3000 the news said, demonstrating against government cuts to education spending aimed at slashing the public deficit. I stopped for a while not only taking pictures of them but talking to a few of them to listen to their opinion and learn about what's going on in Spain at present....
